The clients asked us to convert an existing bathroom and screened porch into a large bathroom and laundry room. The current bathroom was cramped, lacked storage, and was in very bad shape. We created a bright, open 5-piece bathroom with plenty of storage space and a comfortable bathing area. The tile, bead-board wainscoting, medicine cabinets, classic plumbing and light fixtures are all details that are compatible with the 1930's Craftsman home.
The linen closet was designed with access from both the laundry room and the bathroom, eliminating the dead space that exists in most closets. The shelving in the half wall at the toilet area and at the tub deck creates additional storage while also being an attractive display area. The creative layout and use of storage space allows for the bathroom to be as open and bright as possible.
